Artist review of Paul  Da Prince 


Born 8 December 1991, Paul Da Prince (Paul Munanjala) is a Zambian musician who started singing in his early childhood days.
 Back then, he would sing along to songs by Michael Jackson, BoyzII Men and Usher. He then went on to participate in a singing competition on Muvi Television in Lusaka, Zambia in 2007, reaching the finals and scooping the second place.

He went on to pursue his media ambitions and career by working for Muvi Televsion. In 2009, he recorded his first single titled ‘Number One’. The song did very well amongest the youth of Zambia. Paul then recorded more songs with K-Amy studios and Equalize Media, releasing a mixtape titled ‘#L3GGO’ which featured 10 songs.

In 2010, Paul featured on prominent Zambian rap artist Ruff Kid’s (now known as Ruff Kaida) song titled ‘Boss Lady’. The song was performed at the annual Born and Bred Music Video awards. His song ‘Rewind’ earned him more fame which saw him getting nominated in the Best New Artist category at the 2013 Born and Bred Music Video Awards.

In 2012, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies at the University of Namibia and continued to work on music whilst in Windhoek. He released a single in 2014 titled ‘Your Name’ which received a massive response from the Namibian audience. He has also featured in works with Zone Fam, Slap D, K'Chinga, Cactus Agony, Princess Jazz and J-Arrow from Durban, South Africa.
Paul is currently under Zee Music management.
