Criminal Gangland gunned down.

A man commonly known as one of the heart of the Namibian criminal gangland died in a storm of bullets after he was hit by several shots fired by police officers in front of a well-known bar in Wanaheda.
A man commonly known as one of the heart of the Namibian criminal gangland died in a storm of bullets after he was hit by several shots fired by police officers in front of a well-known bar in Wanaheda.
a young man by the name Sakaria Amateta well known kablou kb age( 32) was shot to death by the police at Angola bar at Wanaheda .The shooting started after the man known as Kablou was apprehended at the Angola Bar at about 18:30 on sunday evening by members of a special operation task force after he had been identified by the victims in an incident where a group of tourists was robbed at knife point in Klein Windhoek earlier.
“The tourists were able to identify some of their attackers from a photo album kept by members of the Serious Crime Investigation Division and from there the members of the special task force were sent out to apprehend and arrest the suspects. When they attempted to arrested the deceased person he drew a knife and attacked the officers which led them to fire several shots at the suspect. He was unfortunately mortally wounded and died on the scene.”
The deceased was a well-known figure in the criminal gangland of the country and He was known by many as Kablou kb has had many run-ins with the law in the past.
Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi of the Police Public Relations Division said police officers were acting in self-defence when they fired on Kablou kb.
Commissioner Nghishidimbwa said a case of murder was opened against the police officer who fired the fatal shots at Amateta and added that investigators are still searching for the accomplices of the deceased that were also involved with the armed robbery of the tourists.
the next of kin of the deceased person was informed of his death.
